The LIFE programme has launched its 2019 call for proposals, underlining its commitment to supporting projects that protect the environment and tackle the impact of climate change.
The total budget for project action grants in this year's call is over €395.3 million. Of this, over €311 million is foreseen for the sub-programme for Environment and €84.3 million for the sub-programme for Climate Action. At least 78.7% of the budgetary resources allocated to projects supported by way of action grants under the sub-programme for Environment shall be dedicated to projects supporting the conservation of nature and biodiversity.
Applications are welcomed from public bodies, private commercial organisations and private non-commercial organisations (NGOs). Proposals may be submitted by legal persons (entities) registered in the EU.
